Contract clauses

1. The customer confirms that they have received the vehicle in perfect condition and agrees to return it in the same condition.
2. The vehicle is covered by liability insurance. In the event of accidental damage, the customer will be responsible for the cost of vehicle repairs and the cost of the repair work during the repair period.
3. Insurance can be purchased for a surcharge, but does not apply in the case of: drunk driving, driving under the influence of drugs or narcotics, or grossly negligent behavior, for example, driving on the left, violating traffic regulations, speeding, damage caused by poor driving, tire damage, etc.
4. During the term of the contract, the customer is solely responsible for the vehicle; that is, the rental company assumes no liability for any disputes or litigation incurred by the customer.
5. In the event of an accident, the customer is obliged to immediately inform not only the rental company but also the relevant police authority.
6. The customer may not remove the vehicle from the scene of the accident without the rental company's authorization, even if they have purchased full insurance. They must refrain from any discussion or agreement and may not abandon the vehicle without taking the necessary measures to prevent further accidents or damage.
7. If the accident occurs outside the city where the lessor resides, transportation costs to the lessor's repair shop will be borne by the customer. Even if the accident is due to a mechanical breakdown or failure, the lessor declines all liability. The customer waives any compensation due to the interruption of the contract. Under no circumstances will the customer be exempt from repairs and compensation at lhru's expense.
8. If the customer rents the vehicle for more than one day, they are required to return to the rental office every 500 km for an inspection. Failure to do so will result in the customer being liable for any damage.
9. The lessor is authorized to withdraw the vehicle from the customer at any time and to consider the contract terminated if the customer breaches any of these clauses.
10. The customer, regardless of their nationality, declares that they agree to all the clauses of this contract and confirms the contract on the back with their signature. In the event of a dispute regarding the application of the above clauses, the customer submits to Spanish law and the jurisdiction of the courts of SS Gomera.
11. A fee of 200.00 euros will be charged for lost keys or refueling errors.
